- Participated in the daily development and maintenance of the search platform. Hulu search team is responsible for all search services of Disney Streaming including Hulu, Disney+ and Star+
- Developed Hulu human resources platform based on Flask + VUE.JS + MySQL + Redis + Elastic Search (full stack), which deepens my understanding of software architecture, database and search algorithms

- Applied React and TypeScript to build and maintain the performance-monitor system. Performed the mobile end adaptation

- Used C++ and QT to develop medical imaging software for finding plaques in blood vessel.
- I was in charge of some functional modules including transferring data and showing the report.
- During the internship, I have also learnt some basic skills of computer vision, including image segmentation and image registration.
Project experience
- 2019.04 - 2019.06: Object level Optical Flow Computation
Group research project for ENGN4528 Computer Vision - Sem 1 2019
- Used Mask-RCNN to detect vehicles and pedestrians, and converted the detected images for the computation of dense optical flow.
- Used Farnebcak algorithm to compute dense optical flow. I used brightness constancy constraint to improve the robustness.
- Improved accuracy by 12.53% compared to classic Farnebcak algorithm on KITTI dataset.
- 2018.05 – 2019.07: Intelligent Monitoring System in Automated Teller Area
Project Leader, finalist of China Software Cup 2019
- Used YOLOv2 and Mask-RCNN for recognizing some specific human actions and the number of people in automated teller area
- Developed Browser/Server system for remote monitoring and controlling
- 2018.04 – 2018.05: Analysis of the author of last 40 chapters of Chinese masterwork The Dream of Red Mansion
First price paper in NPU Mathematical Contest in Modeling
- Analyzed the author of last 40 chapters of Chinese masterwork The Dream of Red Mansion
- Used ‘jieba’ Chinese text segmentation to collect information in the book, including names, frequently used words and so on
- Applied word frequency analysis, cluster analysis and some basic idea of linguistics to get our conclusion
- 2017.07 – 2018.12: An Intelligent dialogue robot based on Tencent’s Chatting Software
Personal Project
- Utilized Python to implement functions of the qqbot to collect and monitor the chat messages, and designed the Q&A system based on users’ queries
- Employed Turing Robot’s API interface and Alibaba Cloud Server for Q&A identification, and transmission among server, robot and users, which helped more than 1800 students by using the question bank on the server updated everyday
- Contributed for the GitHub repository ‘qqbot’ with more than 3,400 stars by adding plug-in component

- Used web crawler to collect university information from different sources with Python
